GATE Exam 2021: Exam Pattern, dates, Application Form.
This year the GATE Exam 2021 is going to conduct by Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. This year the syllabus for exam papers got some changes. The Exam dates have been released. Application Form for the GATE 2021 has released in 14th September. The mode of exam will be CBT (Computer Based Test) as usual. Syllabus for all the subjects have been revised this year.
The GATE Exam is national
level examination which is conducted by IISc Bangalore and IITs with Nation
Coordination Board (NCB) and Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Qualifying in GATE Exam is mandatory requirement for PG(Postgraduate) programs
in IITs and other Government Scholarships.

Two
new Subjects are Introduced this Year are Environmental Science and
Engineering (ES) & Humanities and Social Science (XH)
·
The
candidates can appear for two paper this time. Combinations of paper has
been released candidates can choose from that.

The
GATE 2021 Exam score is valid for the next three years from the
date of result announcement.
·
Application
for GATE 2021 will be accepted only through online, candidates can apply for
two papers in a single online application form.
·
The
GATE 2021 Application Form has released in 14th September.
·
Exam
dates: 5th,6th,7th
,12th,13th, & 14th February, 2021.
Two sessions (FN and AF).
·
The
Eligibility criteria has been revised, no age limit for the exam.
·
Now
the 3rd year undergraduate is also eligible for the GATE exam.
·
The
closing Date For the online application is 30th September.
·
The
candidate can download their admit card from 8th January on
the official web portal.

The question paper contains 3 type of questions

MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions)

MSQs
(Multiple Select Questions)
·
NATs
(Numerical answer
type)
·
The
negative marking is there for the Multiple-Choice Questions & Multiple
Select Questions, and there are no negative marks for the Numerical Answer Type
questions.
·
TOTAL
duration of the exam is 3 hours.
·
The
question paper will be given maximum of 100 marks.
·
The
question paper totally consists of 65 questions, there will be two sections for
each paper Compulsory part & Optional part.
·
The
mode of exam will be CBT (Computer Based Test) as usual.
·
*In
each paper the Common General Aptitude contains 15 Marks (10 questions) and
the Main paper contains 85 Marks (55 questions).
